Addiction Recovery Coaching

It is an unfortunate reality that the majority of people who complete an inpatient addiction treatment program relapse within their first year of discharge. Lack of structure, the development of health coping skills, and unaddressed issues can often compound the struggle to avoid drugs and alcohol. Many individuals require a comprehensive aftercare program, spearheading by a trained and knowledgeable professional who can help them navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of life after addiction.

Working with an experienced Life Coach, Recovery Coach, or Support Specialist can dramatically reduce the likelihood of relapse during the critical period after treatment. a Recovery Coach in particular can provide essential support during the potentially vulnerable period of transition from early to long term sobriety.

What Recovery Coaching offers is the ability to positively reinforce change for anyone coming home from treatment or who has any legal issues pending. A recovery coach can help their clients avoid the common pitfalls in early recovery that lead to relapse, build sober support networks, and help to strengthen relationships and attain life goals. Coaching is unique from typical process therapy in that it is pragmatic, goal-oriented, and forward-facing.
